Tuesday Night, Dec. 20, 2011 – First Night of Chanukah

Menorah Car Parade:

From North West Baltimore to the Inner Harbor

Leaving from Bnos Yisrael, 6300 Park Heights Avenue, at 6:00pm, leading to the:

Grand Menorah Lighting & Chanukah Celebration

McKeldin Square at the Inner Harbor at 7:30pm

Baltimore’ tallest Menorah!

Menorahs lighting to be attended by her honor Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, city and state dignitaries and community leaders.

Special performances, Live Music, Latkes, Jelly Doughnuts, Hot Drinks and More.

Admission is free and open to the public, regardless of background or affiliation

Parade Route:

  • Assemble @ 6300 Park Heights Avenue in back parking lot
  • Right on Fords Lane
  • Left onto Park Heights Avenue,
  • Right on Fallstaff Road,
  • Right on Cross Country Boulevard,
  • Right on Taney Road,
  • Left on Park Heights Avenue,
  • Left onto Northern Parkway,
  • Right onto 83 South,
  • Continue on to President Street,
  • Right on Lombard Street,
  • Left onto Light Street,
  • Parade scheduled to pass McKeldin square before 7pm

 Parking:

Park in the Laz garage, which is located between Pratt and Lombard St and Light and Commerce. The garage can be entered by making a Left from Commerce St (between Pratt and Lombard) any time, and from Lombard St (between Commerce and Light) or Light St (between Lombard and Pratt) after 630pm

Special Event rate is $4 for the night with event brochure (extra copies will be available at the event or can be printed online).
